Shipping & Return Policy


We are committed to deliver your order accurately, in good condition and on time. We will try and ensure the fastest and most efficient dispatch & delivery to get your orders to you as swiftly as possible. We deliver to 137 cities across the country. Currently, each order may be shipped only to a single destination address. If you wish to ship products to different addresses, you shall need to place multiple orders. We ship on all week days (Monday to Saturday), excluding public holidays and weekly holidays.

Shipping Charges:

We do not offer free shipping.

Time of Delivery:

The items/ merchandise you have ordered would normally be shipped within 2 working days from the date of receipt of payment at our end. We ensure the fastest and most efficient dispatch & delivery to get your orders to you as swiftly as possible from our end. Shipping is done mostly through India Post and the average time of delivery is 5 days.

In the current scenario of Covid-19 pandemic, deliveries will be delayed due to various factors, mainly staff availability, limited modes of transport and shift timings or reduced timings of Post Offices.

Damages If Any

If you receive your parcel in a damaged or tampered condition, you should refuse to accept it. You can call our customer care at 9911329999 or mail us at support@libraryathome.com mentioning your order reference number with item no. within 2 days. We shall make our best efforts to ensure that a replacement delivery is made to you at the earliest.


Despite our best efforts and those of our logistic partners, certain issues could arise before the parcel is delivered. In order to guarantee you seamless service quality, Library@Home promises to do its best to find the causes and resolve the problem in a timely manner. While our endeavour will be to ship all items in your order together, this may not always be possible due to product location.
Should you not be present when our courier attempts to deliver your parcel, a card will be left for your information. A second attempt will automatically be made after 48 hour, along with a card. After the second attempt, our courier will hold on to your parcel for 7 days awaiting further instructions from the recipient before returning your parcel to Library@Home. Once the parcel has been sent back to us, you must wait until it arrives in our store. We will re-dispatch it to you as per your instructions at an additional cost if applicable.

Return Policy:

We follow No Return Policy for the books sold.
Returns are acceptable only under exceptional circumstances:
If the return is due to an error on our part (incorrect item sent), we will arrange for a pickup and replace the item

Order Cancellation:

You may cancel an order within 2 hours of your purchase. You can cancel your order by writing to us at support@libraryathome.com.The cancellation will be effective within 24 hours and a confirmation email will be sent immediately. As part of usual business practice, if we receive a cancellation notice and the order has not been packaged / shipped by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed and shipped out by us. Please note Library@Home will not be liable for any damage that happens in transit of your order.
