The items/ merchandise you have ordered would normally be shipped from our end within 2 working days from the date of receipt of payment at our end. We ensure the fastest and most efficient dispatch & delivery to get your orders to you as swiftly as possible from our end. The items will be delivered within 3 working days from the date of dispatch for deliveries within Delhi NCR and within 5 days at all other locations on a best effort basis.

However, currently delivery schedules are impacted due to Covid-19 outbreak and hence there can be several hours of delay in the delivery schedules.

We do not offer free shipping irrespective of order value. Shipping charges are calculated on the basis of weight of packets.

Yes, you can pickup your purchases from our warehouse located in Gurgaon, Haryana. However, you need to inform us a specific time and day (between 3.00 PM and 6.00 PM) of your pickup only by email to support@libraryathome.com. Please note that our warehouse remains closed on all Sundays and public holidays and is operated by a skeletal staff during working days.

There is no provision to cancel the order online.
You can cancel your order offline by writing to us at support@libraryathome.com within 2 hours of your purchase.in.The cancellation will be effective within 2 hours and a confirmation email will be sent immediately. As part of usual business practice, if we receive a cancellation notice and the order has not been packaged / shipped by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed and shipped out by us. Please note Library@Home will not be liable for any damage that happens in transit of your order..

We follow a "No Return Policy" for the books sold.
Returns are acceptable only under 'exceptional circumstances'. Library@Home is the sole authority to decide whether a circumstance is 'exceptional'. However, if there is an error on our part (incorrect item sent), we will arrange for a pickup and replace the item.
We would like to reiterate here that buyers should check the condition/quality of the items thoroughly before placing orders.

This is a portal for selling pre-owned books including old editions. We have classified the books into several quality levels depending on the condition of the books. We take utmost care to specify the quality against each item and the explanations thereof. There are also additional quality info on books which is mentioned under "More about the book".
Hence, we do not accept any return due to quality issues. In case of any doubts about the quality of the book/s, please write to us at support@libraryathome.com for additional details about a specific item. We can even send you additional images of the item/s you would like to purchase from different angles if our offer price is more than Rs.250.

We accept payments by the following modes
1. All debit cards, credit cards and net banking for payment online.
2. Payment through Paytm QR scan.
3. Direct bank transfer
4. Unified Payments Interface (UPI)

We do not accept cash on delivery.

We are an online pre-owned book seller only with doorstep delivery option. We do not have a reading room to study. Our books are stored in a warehouse not accessible to public.
